I love use of technology like this!

Maybe its because of my other life as an artist / sculptor but I love use of technology like this. Stop motion animation always lives with me. Most of our clients don't know this is what I wanted to do with my life, but life points you in different directions - you take what you get and make changes later.

Google is just cool, that's all I can tell you. Google has I am sure 1000's of projects on the go and many are just for the sake of trying. Google just released Loon, Loon is basically 'balloon net' - how cool is that.

Adventures in bad web design.

People often get angry with me because I recoil in horror when I visit their website. I don't mean to be rude, but at this point, it's a reflex.

Of all of the website design companies on the planet, I'd suggest less than 20% have a semblance of a clue. It's sad, but it's like the rest of the tech industry in general. You have people who think this industry is just a big get rich quick scheme, and really have no drive, ambition, or true wish to be good at it and enjoy it.

Half Measures in Web Accessibility #2 -'Opens In A New Window'

You no doubt have a number of links on your website that point to your many working partners, suppliers, customers or other schemes that you're running. Microsoft Infringe Canadian Patent

After reading this article from the BBC, I think that most PC users will be forgiven a wry smirk of satisfaction. Following years of "Genuine Advantage Tools" (read: "Anti-Piracy Software") that can make getting the latest updates difficult if you don't install them, and moreover the corporation filing lawsuits to prevent circumvention of the Tool, Microsoft have themselves been contravening the intellectual property of a Canadian firm, i4i, who filed the patent for the increasingly popular Extensible Markup Language (XML).
